I know Inception has strafing. Does Kick-Ass and The Town have strafing? Because I don’t think The King’s Speech does, and the only kind of strafing in The Social Network is verbal.

  2. Hi Richard. Both “Kick-Ass” and “The Town” have substantial amounts of strafing, so I haven’t lost my edge.

I should note, however, that “Toy Story 3,” “Black Swan,” “I’m Still Here,” “The Fighter” and “Secretariat” are also no-strafing movies.

    Happy New Year!

  3. “I’m Still Here” – was that the “Wakeen Feenix” thing?

  4. Hey David. Nice to hear from you. That was it. I have to say, I haven’t seen very many actors invest so much in a role. I mean the guy actually changed his entire public persona for to make the movie. I also liked the film because of the way it used the masses as a character. I think it says a lot about celebrity culture in America.

  5. Forrest – I will have to check that out on Netflix now! I was on the fence about watching it before.

  6. Hopefully, I don’t let you down. I have another film critic friend who ranked it very highly as well. And I know Roger Ebert was impressed by it as well. Mostly, however, it flew under the radar. Maybe that’s what happens when you have way too much pre-release hype.
